You paint a picture with finess and then put the reader right in the middle of it.
"A rusty, naked bulb outside above the door" lines like this give it an artistic realism it's hard to find in poetry. The slice of life picture let's me wonder what came before or fill in the blanks at my liesure.. You did a wonderful job of making the observer part of the scene, well done.
