Subject: Sea Skiff Bow Flags

Just a reminder that there will be no more Sea Skiff Flags like the ones we sold. My vendor is quitting business. The Michigan Chapter of ACBS has found a source and will be selling the flags from their chapter if you want them. Their flags will be on the same fabric as the Chris Craft Flags that they currently sell. Contact them if you need a flag. We would like for our boats to use the SeaSkiff Flag when we are all together... It looks soooooo good!

Great Jen, glad you like it. Your bow pole should have two rings. Alan used a waxed twine (left over from his sail boat)and did his usual thing with special knots. I think Chris did the same thing. When we see you in St. Augustine, if you don't have it already, Alan will do it for you. F

It sounded like you needed a way to secure the pole to the light. I drilled and tapped a 1/4-20 thread at the bottom of the light in the center keeping at the correct angle. I then drilled the bottom of the pole and screwed in a stainless steel anchor bolt that has a 1/4-20 thread on the other end. You then screw the pole into the light. If the pole is not in the right position so the burgee is aft, reposition the anchor bolt slightly in the pole. I also lash the burgee to the pole rings with sailmaker thread.Ken J.
