Re: Thanks Faye! I love my Sea Skiff flag, now if I could just figure out how to secure it to my bowlight so I can have it in while running. Any ideas anyone???? -- Ken Jorgensen, 21:23:16 11/07/02 Thu (cache-dp01.proxy.aol.com/205.188.209.101)
It sounded like you needed a way to secure the pole to the light. I drilled and tapped a 1/4-20 thread at the bottom of the light in the center keeping at the correct angle. I then drilled the bottom of the pole and screwed in a stainless steel anchor bolt that has a 1/4-20 thread on the other end. You then screw the pole into the light. If the pole is not in the right position so the burgee is aft, reposition the anchor bolt slightly in the pole. I also lash the burgee to the pole rings with sailmaker thread.Ken J.
