1976 22' cutlass

I have a 1976 22' Chris Craft cutlass with lapstrake sides.
I see quite a few boats like mine but they all have straight inboards. My boat has a different transom and is designed for an outboard.
I was told there were very few 22 footers made in the 70's with outboards.
Is there anyway I can find out how many were made that year? and does anyone know someone that has this type of boat?

I have a 1978 22' Chris Craft Cutlass I am looking for more info too. I am concidering repowering it any recommendations on engine size.
