Subject: Wow! Sorry for being a Delinquent poster.....

But time got away from me, and I can't believe its almost October!

I hope everyone has had a wonder Summer patrolling the lakes in their Sea Skiffs.....The ACBS Annual Meeting was held just about 2 weeks ago here at Lake Lanier Islands in Georgia.

We of course were dealing with the possibility of Hurricane Ivan, and this fact kept the attendance of boats down. There was a point where there were only 12 boats in the water, and the funny thing is 1/3 of those boats were Sea Skiffs!

The preliminary events on Tuesday and Wednesday featured trips on the lake to lunch destinations on each day. Wednesday the weather wasn't looking to bright, and the lake was very rough. Only 5 boats had the gumption to head out for the Wednesday cruise....

4 of the 5 were Sea Skiffs!!! Chris Smith's Cora B, Susan Wilson & Shirley Brown's Just Awesum, Bob Churchill's Classy 62, and my own Crazy 8.

Nothing can stop Sea Skiff's, they are such a great riding boat in rough water!!

I hope the Fall and Winter keeps everyone in good spirits, and hope to see many of you Skiff Owners at Mount Dora in March!
