Subject: 1959 22' Sea skiff Ranger

I am restoring a 1959 22' ranger that has the white fwd deck with mahagony king plank and aft deck with covering boards also white. What exactly makes them white? Is it some type of paint or something else like natulex? What is the best way to restore these? Any suggestions would be helpful
Thank you,
William

[> On my 60 Skiff William the decking was actually vinyl. I believe the transom was vinyl at one time as well, but was restored using Mahogany. I believe the material is going to be vinyl, & is not paint or anything like that. The Mariner's Museum might have additional information for you. -- Jennifer, 22:09:15 01/11/05 Tue (69-166-13-21.atlaga.adelphia.net/69.166.13.21)
