Subject: Year and model of Sea Skiff.

I am looking for a member's expertise in identifying a FIBERGLASS c-c with a SIMULATED LAPSTRAKE deep-v hull. Although I never purchased the boat, I found one for sale about 5 years ago. It was around 21 to 23 feet, had a small cuddy cabin and had a white hull with red trim. I'm pretty sure it had a I/O drive. I believe it was a late sixties model or early seventies. I have never seen another one of these in the water or for sale.

Was this glass chris-craft (with simulated laps) a cc or a sea skiff?

If it's a Chris-Craft, what model would it be? Possibly a Cosair?

I would love to know more about this paticular glass cc or sea skiff with simulated laps. Any information would be greatly appreciated as I would like to research the boat and possibly find one to buy.

Thank you,
J. Todd McDowell

I own a 22' 69' Chris Cutlass lapstrake in fiberglass. They were produced in both CC and cuddy. Originally these dory designs were in wood but from the late 60's thru early 70's they were all fiberglass hulls. Could this be your boat?

you are refering to a 1978 chris craft 22 Cutlass cuddy fiberglass hull and no internal structral wood in the hull or transum I believe they made this one year only with a cuddy and the rest of the seires 1974 to 1978 was a open fishing center console the numbers are probably around 12 to 15 made in 1978
