Eligibility issues are dealt with in advance and ideally should be the same at SUDA as there are in IVDA, hence the benefit of SUDA using the IVDA SC.

Regarding costuming, if the IVDA SC aren't all present at SUDA (which they won't be) they can't make a decision all together about whether a costume fits the non competitive dress rule. However, I belive it says in the SC guidelines that the IVDA SC chairperson is allowed to make a decision if one is needed at immediate notice and the others cannot be contacted. I don't think (touch wood!) that a costuming issue will arise: the IVDA definition is pretty clear now and there were no major problems at IVDA 2003. If anyone does have an outfit that they are not sure whether or not it abides by the IVDA rules, maybe they could bring it to Sheffield when all the IVDA SC will be present to make a decision.

I guess if there are any other issues, the IVDA SC chairperson (with advice from IC and oxford reps) and/or the SUDA Prsident can make a decision, but I doubt there will be anyhting that will need sorting out on the day.
