Hi, I'm not on the SF organising committee although I will make sure I notify them of all these views later tonight. Just in case ppl weren't sure, it is Bristol who is hosting the SF this year.

From what I have discussed with the committee, there will be a test run of the team trial, although it will only be 1 division. Although a full test run of the 2 division qualifying most likely will not be run, as Shell pointed out, it will be useful in that it will help everyone (scrutineer, judges, participants, etc.) get used to the team marking system.

Will post a reply, or someone fr the SF Committee will post a reply with regards to all the queries.

Our SF website should be online soon too I hope and we will be announcing the list of dances via the mailing list ASAP too.

And following the original theme of this thread, we will be holding lots of fun 'alternative events' too. =)
