I reckon that Cardiff and Bristol's setup and ethos (very important!) is getting progressively closer to that of Impoxbridge, and hence the gap between them and, say, Bath is growing ever wider.

If the SF were founded now, would Bris/Card be invited? This is almost exactly the same question as 'would IC be invited?' etc. - yet we have quite different answers because Bris/Card are foudner members and therefore automatically invited.
