I wasn't going to respond until I received a mail from Gail....
So just to clear up and misunderstandings, the standard at this comp was not high, although it's always nice to win. I'm an ex-student now (since 2000) and my partner did not dance in the uni system as he's from South Africa.

However, it was nice to see a lot of current & ex-students out there. :)
