Hi folks
Greetings from Canada :-)
I'll try to answer all the questions.
Sheffield have 4 teachers (nothing secret - it's all on our website).
Darren and Lilia
Craig Draper
Hayley Draper

Hayley Draper is a professional and has been for some time. So all our amateur teachers were covered by this. Before that we had Tony Bennett (Darren's dad) supervising, who is also a professional. Darren and Lilia teach some of his private lessons (outside the university) under the supervision of Tony. So they're all covered.

They all teach group lesons and private lessons when they're here, though Craig isn't aronud so much now he's got his new partner. But he comes up when he can (his parents live in Sheffield so he's up quite a bit anyway).

We also sometimes have Dale Bennett teaching group and/or private lessons too (Dale is Darren's twin brother, who's also a pro and has spent the last few years teaching at Harvard and MIT). It sounds like a lot of teachers, but it works very well because there's usually at least one ballroom and one Latin teacher available at any one point, and they all get along very well and teach in a complementary way.

As for prices, we currently pay all our teachers the same. We recently gave them all an increase since the last IVDC. So they're all quite happy about that!

So, noone was doing anything dodgy, though certain other professional teachers (mentioning no names) like to make a fuss from time to time. They'd hardly have jeopardised their careers as top amateur dances by donig anything dodgy.

As for turning pro, that means they can teach without supervision, and they can earn a lot more money for teaching and demos. Whether they ask for more money or not is up to them of course. That's why we gave them a pay raise recently.

Anything I haven't covered?
