James, whilst your concern in dancesport is appreciated, it is also very negative at times.

I believe the "Youth" in England is actually aged 16-18. So whilst we had THREE couples in the U21 ballroom final in
Blackpool, none of them compete in the EADA youth charts. I know of at least one EADA youth partnership split, and there are un-ranked couples you have yet competed in the required minimum number to qualify for inclusion so it is not all as bad as you would have us believe. It is a very limited age group with couples coming in and out all the time. If you actually look at the results from the EADA youth events, there are more than 3 entries....
