[> Out of the three gigs I've been to this winter (others being Brighton and Poole) this, for me was the best. The Forum is a great venue and by standing on the steps at the back you get a great view without being too far from the stage. I shall avoid the over-used phrase 'they seemed really up for it' but there was a definitate 'last night of the tour' excitement about the place. No Pictures or Wild Blue Yonder but Thats Entertainment was back in along with I Heard it Through the Grapevine. Whitey managed to get through (just) Blue Moon which he dedicated to one of the Man City crew members. I thought we might have got more than one encore what with PW taking a break and all that but on the whole most enjoyable. Nice to see Martyn (and friends), Hils and Graham and bumped into a couple of old school mates who sang their hearts out during Thieves and Running on the Spot!
