OK, OK... I had a bad day and was taking out on Sarah Palin. We had our share of storm bailing to manage here and I wanted to purge. And yes I meant Preying not Praying, but the latter works if you're going for a religious twist. But I am willing to listen to all opinions. And then dismiss all the viewpoints that aren't mine. See. It works. The system works.
One of the reasons I fear for the democratic process is you are supposed to be able to have an opinion. And on the republican side, you cannot dissent. Really, opinions that were contrary to the stated republican agenda got hard working honest republicans fired from RNC positions. Fired for being honest rather than popular. And this is over behind closed doors issues. And Scott Brown, the new savior of the republic, was ostracized for voting his conscience, as he said he would when he campaigned. So that's too fascist for my taste. However the democrats are inclusive to the point of being totally ineffective. Every flipping last Ned and Carl and Lenny gets their say in what's going to happen next, so nothing gets done. I don't want them either. So you stay independent [or undecided] and you know what that gets you? You get twice as many flipping robo calls every stupid little election. It's the crossing guard ballot, 12 calls an hour. Why does it matter if a crossing guard is democratic or republican? "We don't want those socialist spendocrats aborting fetuses on my crosswalks." "Speak for yourself you just-plain-evil-capitolist-redneck-rogue"

See where this politics-on-the-hate-board gets us? Now I'm making posts like Mike P. ...paragraphs of unfunny ranting. And lately his posts have been short ...and even sometimes funny. See how upsidedown the world is now? I'm gonna stick to makin' the hate board pin ups and leave the infighting to the inbreds in Washington.

Sorry, but I'm finding it hard to believe that I'm the crazy one here.
The sad thing is that, as I have said all along, when everything goes to shit because people vote for candidates because it makes them feel good and no one can say anything against that candidate becasue then they're just a hater and that candidate becomes president and no one says anything critical because then they're just a hater and the president fundamentally changes the way a country takes care of its health because he's worried about his legacy instead of realizing that sometimes you can do things for the right reasons but do it in the most fucked up wrong way possible and our great grandchildren end up living in a country that harkens back to the glorious days of the Soviet Union where people stood in line for toilet paper, it doesn't really provide any comfort to be able to say "I told you so".

PS: Check out the book "Tat's No Angry Mob, That's My Mom".
If you can find it. it's usually hidden in the back of the bookstores because it uses all those terrible facts of which liberals are so fearful.

...This is the last time I'm going to even bother, but I honestly have no idea who this Frank is. The President wasn't elected because he made people feel good, he was elected because he said he was going to do something about the war and healthcare and the horrible de-regulation of wall street that made so few so incredibly wealthy and nearly bankrupt the planet. and a government, that apparently you voted for that was so evil and corrupt that, yes, it made the democrats almost look capable. And guess what, he's actually trying to do it and has succeded at some. The bill stinks because it's not socialized enough. It gives too much to the insurance companies that I would like to see gone, but Obama is actually trying to work with the republicans and he gets shit on every time he does because THEY care more about destroying him than about fixing ANYTHING.

"Soviet Union" "Waiting in line for Toilet paper" where do you get this stuff? Come out of your bunker and smell the fresh air. You think that old man and the half-wit, half govenor were going to fix anything. We'd be in a full blown depression right now if you had had your way. Frank Dixon, Birther-Tea bagger...I never thought I would see the day.

...No, it's because republicans don't read, they get fed their information from Beck, Hannity and Limbaugh and the entire Fox network...sad...fucking sad.

Last time for me, too.
You can believe that Obama won because he promised to do blah blah blah, but if you look at his record, you'll see that he hasn't come through on ANY of his blah blah blah promises except to OVERHAUL healthcare, instead of REFORM.
Don't worry about it not being socialized enough. It will be.
I voted for Clinton,Clinton, Gore, Kerry, and finally McCain. All of them being the lesser of two evils, and I really didn't believe the "evil" part until this administration.
I don't work in a bunker. i work in the basement of a major Boston hopsital that is hemorraging money because Obamacare 1.0 is a failure here in Mass. But I'm sure up in Maine, the hub of the universe, it will all work out better.
Yes, I'm a birther - not that I believe that Obama wasn't born in the US, but because I can't trust a man who will go to court to keep the most fundamental form of ID from being kept public. Transparency.
And we're called Tea Partiers. "Tea bagger" is a derogatory term coined by the liberal media to discredit a group of people who believe in smaller government, lower taxes, national defense, border security, and pride in the country we live in. Sorry if those concepts are so infantile.
My son has diabetes, my sister is on disability, and my neice is underemployed and will soon go off her mother's insurance. But I would prefer to try to deal with paying for their health insurance under the present (pre-Obamacare) system, than watch the decline of services offered and available while the money to pay for it all keeps getting sucked out of EVERYONE's pockets.

Like I say - Not much pleasure saying "I told you so".

How's that Hope-y Change-y workin' for ya?

>How's that Hope-y Change-y workin' for ya?

First off, the only reason Obama was elected in the first
place, was due to the disillusion suffered by the american
people, at the hands of a President who's only goal was to destroy the middle class, and line the pockets of the wealthiest 10% of this country. Bush and Cheney almost single handedly destroyed the republican party's chances
of winning anything in the next 20 years. There are independent voters, such as myself, that are sick and tired
of having to choose the lesser of two evils, and even more
aggravated by the apathy they seem to immediately develop, once elected. Obama is the first President in my lifetime to
shake the foundation of the status quo, and that scares the hell of out of the good old boy network that has been in charge for far to long. If by chance he stumbles along the
way, that's OK with me, at least he is heading in the right direction. Eight years of Bush, was like an eight year kick
in the balls, at the end of it, you welcome the first person
who comes along with an icepack, even if that icepack may cost a little more, at least you know the pain will eventually subside. The Republicans have nobody to blame, but themselves, for the mess they're in now, and all the bashing and mud flinging in the world, will not change the fact that they are up against a President who understands
the anger of the people who put him in office.

Just the none funny ramblings of someone who doesn't matter much on here.

Sorry, I only came back again because I seriously worry about you...it sounds like you're three Hannity's away from a water tower with a high powered rifle...which, contrary to poular belief, you still can own.

...I've seen his birth certificate, everybody who wants to see it can, even right wing blogs have verified it...it was on Hardball with Chris Mathews for christ's sake...unless your point is that his birth certificate doesn't SAY birth certificate it says Record of Live Birth, well guess what, that's what Oklahoma gives out too. Lucy has a "Record of Live Birth" from Oklahoma...given on the day of her birth...a certificate...given...on ...her...actual...birthday. That's how they do it...are you telling me that Lucy wasn't born in the U.S. I was there...I saw it.

>And we're called Tea Partiers.

..holy crap.

"Tea bagger" is a
>derogatory term coined by the liberal media to
>discredit a group of people who believe in smaller
>government, lower taxes, national defense, border
>security, and pride in the country we live in.

Wrong, the term came from their own signs, I've seen that tape too. That's the problem, complete dishonesty.

Sorry if those concepts are so infantile.

..they are not and you may have them, but you can't pick up your marbles and go home because you lost the election...and you can't make stuff up because you are angry and hate someone so much that you would rather destroy what you purport to love, than try to make it better.

...yes,you would have been paying, till they used up to the cap or they just got cut off. a 27 year old with diabetes was diluting her insulin in half under this excellent program, and died leaving behind 3 children...welcome to America.

...At this point your blood pressure will take you out long before this even goes into effect.
>
>How's that Hope-y Change-y workin' for ya?

...you used to steal from the best...

...now, the dumbest.

Sigh.

See, you guys are doing to each other what the "liberal media" and "conservative right" do rather than having actual discourse.

Just because someone says or writes something that YOU don't believe, doesn't make them a liar.

Everyone is a hypocrite. Even your mom.

Substantive discussion or real issues will never take place while the hyperbole of political rhetoric rules the media.

...absolutely true...You are a liar when you tell untruths...

...also, if you make a good point you should sign your name...

...your mom would be proud...

...like I am...

...smooch.
