Subject: I was rooting for New Orleans too!

First I vote for Scott Brown, who wins.
Then I root for New Orleans and they win.
What's next?

Maybe I'll start backing Sarah Palin.

And by "backing" I mean giving her an "organic colonoscopy".

And by "organic colonoscopy", I mean my organ and her vagina, which isn't a colon, but she's a girl so I might as well go for the vagina instaed of the rectum.

"Rectum? Damn near killed 'im"

That's what I say when people ask me if I ever had sex with Artie.

Let's see. Scott Brown. New Orleans Saints. Sarah Palin. Is that enough to get you pussies posting vitriol and making this board live up to it's name?

This is so much more interesting than talking about Mike's weight, which was caused by Republicans.

Well, it can't be bacause I get it my way, with Bush it's his way or the highway.

Have you thought about rooting for yourself? When are you going to share a little of that luck/love with Frank (who really needs it)? When is it Frank's turn?

I think Frank is entitled to vote for any dumbass he wants to. And don't assume I mean Scott Brown, cause I don't. But I am scared at the way officials get elected, that is to say the methods by which they actually reach office. I like governor Terminator of Cal-i-fornia, he is the kind of republican I can get behind. Scott Brown is a blank page, we'll just have to see what he'll do.

But I object to the use of the term 'the Populist Party' as the support behind 'popular' politicians like Sarah Palin and Scott Brown. The populist party were people like Artie and Frank and Brian. Ordinary working citizens and farmers, the average guy. And I'm talking about you politically and not addressing your individual creative talents, of course; which are considerable. But the idea was to take the power away from the greedy industrialist and Bankers [in your personal creative struggles, that would be Bonnie] and put it in the hands of the people for a freer and more equitable exchange of commerce, and therefore greater prosperity overall.

But the greatest power affecting how legislation is created now is corporate money. That's not all bad. Corporate america has built the stuff everyone just takes for granted as their right as an American, god bless us, everyone. So corporations have a lot to be thanked for. But they don't care about lives. Corporations are run like mathematical formulas now. Individual people and lives aren't driving their choices. Except for the few at the very top, who want as little interference from imposed regulation as possible.

Can you believe the gall of those people who got mesothelioma to expect Asbestos Partners Inc LLC to pay for their surgical and pharmaceutical bills? Anyway, you have to have laws to prevent the most egregious failures of corporations lack of humanity. And with laws you get stupid stuff like laws to force people from their shabby homes so you can build a shiny new mall, yeah! eminent domain rules! take that subsistence cretins! A McDonalds on every corner. So the point I'm getting at is we need both. Both parties. Keeping each other in check. But I am a bigot. I am a real bigot against stupidity. Not in the sense of developmentally disabled or ignorant. I'm not thinking of you, Mike. But the kind of stupidity like you get during the Joseph McCarthy era. The 'I was only following orders' mentality of Nazi Germany. That kind of stupidity. And I see a lot of finger point and Blame throwing, but little real governance. And I see the two parties in Washington pandering to their constituents, it makes them ALL seem ineffectual. And I see an environment, ripe for the kind of hatred that separates people, to thrive.

Which brings me back to this board.

Good job.

The hate is strong.

Sorry about the rant. Good wine leads to good whine.

...That ship has sailed. It will "ship-wreck" and not in the S.S. Minnow good way.

...Good luck with Palin but ya gotta get in line, she's still fucking the people of Alaska,

...and everyone that bought her book...

...and don't forget what she did to john maccain.

He's a republican, who owns a bunch of stuff,
and he hates blacks and fat people! Is it such
a stretch to think that one of those things he owns,
would be the place that made me fat?

see what I did there? I used democratic logic to make
Franks head explode.

Democratic Logic. I don't want to, but I have to ask isn't that the same is military intelligience?

So, Burger King made you fat? Was it like a royal command and you had to obey, or did he actually march you to the register at gunpoint, make you order and then eat said order? If so, then where was Denny hiding with his sniper rifle making you order the Grand Slam Breakfast? Sorry Mike, but the you can't blame the King.

Speaking Burger king, here is something interesting (maybe) that hopefully I have not mentioned before. Someone told me awhile ago that McDonald's had bought Burger King and was maintaing the "rivalry" just to keep us buying the same way. Intrigued, I googled it to see how the rumour started, what evidence if any there was to support it, etc. Not one hit. Not one paranoid nut job, not one vigilant vegan site, no one had anything to say excpet all long the lines of something being crazy or totally impossible. I find the lack of information....interesting.

OK, valid point, I should have worded it to say "The place I chose to facilitate getting fat ! One of many.

Blaming Burger King for making me fat, is like Robin Williams Blaming the spoon, and the straw, for getting him hooked on cocaine.
