Phoniex jumped back, starled at the creature that just ran in front of them. She heard the loud crashes of bushes then silence.She looked to Daraner, who was also a bit surprised,but quickly covered it up,"Was that a Catling, we just saw."

"She, if that was a she, was absolutly terrified of us.I wonder why? Never mind, we have to go and find her. She might be hurt." She lightly ran in the direction the sound had come from.She walked into the bushes and stopped.Where had she gone? She took another step forward and became tangled in a low tree. She pulled and tugged to get her hair free from the branches. She gave a final tug and her hair came loose. In the process of trying to free herself from the branches, she cut her right, upper arm on a black, green thorn that was imbeaded in the tree. It began to bleed some, so she placed her left hand over it in an attemp to stop it. She stood where she was and spoke softly,"Please,we mean you no harm. I'm a sea elf not a tarlin. My name is Phoniex and that is my joined Daraner."and waited for a response.
