 "Whispers and Shouts wishes to announce its proposed launch in October 2003. A monthly magazine, Whispers and Shouts will be Ireland's first dedicated short story magazine. A guest editor in each issue will include some of their favourite stories as well as commenting on the genre. There will also be a section for previously unpublished work thus providing emerging writers to appear in print alongside some of Ireland's most respected writers.
