Subject: Stratford Ride Out - Heads Up from Mike the Bike Author: Bugs [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: Thu, Jul 09 2009, 23:27:27 Hope the weathers kind to you guys on Sunday for this one, just a quick heads up, Stratford council are stepping up the anti against motorcycles parking on the pavement etc, any where basically but the bike park, this will include scooters too, so any one planning to park either on the grass at Brigdefoot or on Watwerside, be sure to take something to imediatly cover your number plate. The company the council have employed to issue the parking fines take a picture with a digital camera and then issue you with a £70.00 fee in the post, there were many bikes done this Saturday and Sunday just gone, there are representatives looking at the legality of the operation and I dont think the fines will have any substance in court, however to avoid the issue in the first place the simplest solutiion is to cover your plate the moment you pull up and take it off as you leave, please pass this info to all the clubs that will be involved in Sundays ride out, see you guys there Mike the Bike [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ]
