gracias Dhara. Un beso para ti.
The black storm and a shoot on the rear.

T (3/25/2003 8:21:45 AM): Update: Currently on the side of the road in defensive positions due to the incredibly bad sand storm. Not able to see my hand in front of my face. Not sure where we are exactly all I know is that we were in several firefights with the Iraqi's last night and we had several casualties. I lost a Marine that got his back shot yesterday and the thing that really pissed me off most was that some damn report was trying to interview him while we were trying to get him medicated to the rear. That kind of crap has to stop. I don't want any of my marines mom's learning that there son was shot on live television. There is a fine line to this reporting and its starting to get in the way of us being able to do our jobs. I was interviewed a day or so ago but wasn't asked what my name was.

T (3/25/2003 8:21:54 AM): Not sure if it made the news or not at this point I could really careless. This storm is taking a beating upon us today and we hope that its gonna break pretty soon but the way it looks its pitch black outside like its night time and I know that its not. It has really hampered our movement today. Hopefully tonight it will break and we can resume our march towards Baghdad

Another dessert storm, on the outskirts of Bhagdad and the hit and run.

T (3/27/2003 5:44:34 AM): Update Currently we are in another bad sandstorm that has slowed our progress. We had some casualties yesterday with the Iraqi Paramilitary doing what we call hit and run tactics. They try and hit us with sporadic fire and then retreat very quickly in the hopes that we won't have a chance to react and hit them. Along with the sandstorm that has slowed us and we have now started to hunt theses groups down and finish them off so that we can move on. We understand that were getting close to Baghdad and that were about to face a very large force of the republican guard of Hussein, we are prepare for whatever. Not exactly sure where we are but I do know that we pasted by a town called Qal at Sukkar. We have seen some of the air power destruction in the way of dead Iraqi corpses in there burned out military vehicles.

T (3/27/2003 5:44:36 AM): Some also that our tanks and artillery have destroyed as well. It would be very nice it this damn sandstorm would break so that we can get done what we need to and end this thing quickly.

T (3/27/2003 5:45:56 AM): I miss seeing you due to this war and how far we are up north in it. Just for you information I'm not sending you anything that hasn't already happened. So I haven't given anything up to you or the enemy if that concerns you. I have a big favor to ask.... <===personal====>oxoxoxoxo T
