Santa Cruz held Scotts Valley scoreless in the fourth quarter of a 75-30 road victory.
Cliff Sammet, who had to leave the game in the second quarter to patch a cut around his eye and returned in the second half, led the Cardinals (26-1, 11-0 SCCAL) with 14 points. He also made four steals and three assists and pulled down 11 rebounds.

Jesse LoBue and Junior Russell added 13 points apiece. Russell also made four steals and three assists, and Austin Swift added 12 boards.

Bernard Mooney led the Falcons (3-18, 2-9 SCCAL) with 10 points, and Brett Johnson added seven.
