from the Breakfast Club meeting:

DD is feeling pretty good about the upcoming season but was feeling really good until the problems with Sean and Kyle ...

the big concern about Sean is the redshirt ... if he comes back and plays even one game in the 2nd (conference) half of the season its pretty much a season burned ... and there is some concern that he could "reinjure" the foot and then you effectively loose a year (now you can petition but who knows) [note: think Ross vs. Cox] ....

there is some concern about this being Kyle's and Doran's last year and wanting to win for them ...

more thought: if after playing center by committee for much of the season we show up with a different alignment (a strong Sean's back) that could throw a wrench into how league opponents try and play us for the 3rd time in the WCC tourney ...

besides it give Sean time to work on "bulking" up when he is not on the floor ...

btw: it is a given the Brandon is probably out for the season ... but we a litte (lot) deeper at "the 2" ... than "the 5"
