I suggetsed changing forum a 2 years ago and everyone was against the idea because they love the anonimity of Voy. Maybe opinions have changed?

It was added as people can handle the minor irritationa dn it stopped a slew of awful spam.

I agree that this bulletin board is out of date, old, clunky and pretty much all round shite... Its barely web 1 when web 2 takes over. BUT would we not do better having a facebook group instead rather than a third space? The alumni connection via anonymous bulletin board seems to have died and the whole thing seems to me to be largely redundant.

Anonymity was STRONGLY and vehemently defended when I first became web monkey so I've left it but do notice this ere forum seems a little errr, dead these days. However how to have a forum that allows alumni to advertise and stay in contact with the club is an issue - facebook is an option will look into others....

I'd say have a look here http://www.myfreeforum.org/ i know quite a few places that use it and theres no spam either. The only reason the bulletin board is dead is because its too hard to actually follow, plus its dead BECAUSE its a bulletin board, not a forum.

As for Facebook, we do have a group http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=5825202613 its just nothing has changed since December.
