“The Zombie, the Cat, and Barack Obama” begins when the writer Christopher Anton invites the zombie Julian Faversham to lodge in his house. Faversham is no ordinary undead monstrosity though. He is also a talented musician and it is arranged that he will play the piano, as a means of paying his rent.
The book morphs from being a comic horror farce to a political satire, where the reader is presented with some very unconventional explanations for the origin and ancestry of Barack Obama, the founding of the Illuminati, what happened to the body of Adolf Hitler and many more bedevilling mysteries.
It was the writers intention to entertain his readers and to make them laugh a lot. In this book, I believe he succeeds.
