I do agree that baseball is back in a big way, that there are more teams contending at this point in the season than we have ever had before. The wild card races are going to be awesome. I am a homer so I hope my Tigers get some pitching to go along with the powerful hitting they have been doing. Jung, I do have to take issue with one point in your message. The NL outfielders, well the ones that was voted on (Sorry Griffey, you just can't stay healthy). Yes they are all 500 home run hitters and shoe ins for the Hall of Fame but there are clouds hanging over two of them. We all know Bonds have been doing roids over the years. Take Bonds 2004 and compare him to Bonds 1992 no difference. A majority of his home runs have come in the last 6-7 years. Do the same for Mark McGwire over the years and compare him. I am not saying that Bonds isn't a good home run hitter, but the pace he is on is astronomical. The same with McGwire over the years.

As for Sosa, how many home runs did he hit with cork in his bat. We will never know. And whos to say he isn't still using a corked bat.

I am not going to go down a whole list of predictions but I think its going to be a Yankees vs Cardinals world series, to close to call. I wouldn't be suprised if a dark horse get in too.
