As to the old traditions from "back in the days," well, I don't know -- I'm sure some of the "traditions" weren't exactly legal.... LOL!! Seriously, I hope you get a lot of responses for this thread you started. It has the potential to generate A LOT of great comments and stories. The one tradition I remember was the Thanksgiving Day Globe-Miami football game that stopped just before my freshman year. I understand why it was stopped, but it was a huge tradition for many years. See Ricardo Lucero's recollection of the games on The Tiger Den web site to get an idea of how rough things were. Student Body President, eh? Impressive. Stay in touch. I am curious about the Papoose web site . I removed the link to it because nothing was being done on it. Do you know anything about it? Thank YOU for the update on the Southern Division Champions!!!! I'd love to go to Friday's game, but I doubt if I will be able to make it. Let us know when and where the next round is being played. You know, in our Senior year, we had a perfect record, but it was upside down -- we were 0 and 10, pretty embarassing! So I am excited to hear how well Globe has done this year. Karl W. Then again, many of the "traditional" activities in those remote locations also often fell under the "not exactly legal" category....? But being the sweet and innocent type, I wouldn't have any real first-hand knowledge of those activities -- all I have is second-hand accounts, i.e., heresay....

LOL. Other then most of those places, every cop in town knows about, so there are some new spots too...not that I would know either, hah! But, yes the Tigers Beat Higley 40-7 and they play Willcox, once again on Friday, November 15th at 5:00 pm at Mesa Community College.
