Hi Jody, It's good to see someone else here from the class of '84. I am in Texas, married with 3 kids. I haven't talk much with any one since I left. Hope things are good with you.

Hi Jody,
I want to say that I remember you - who did you hang out with in 84? I was the shy, quiet and geeky one from the rez. I was not in the in crowd and did not join any clubs or go to any school events since I was (in a closet) being raised by a very very strict great grandmother. But while off the rez and at Globe I made some friends. Ones I remember was Doris Sanchez, Tina Guerrero, Jonnie Alvarez, Anna Marie Erickson.

Where am I now? I'm a proud mother of 3 most BEAUTIFUL children in the world! My daughter being the youngest is 2 1/2 years old, then my sons 4 and 6 1/2. I'm a full time mother and fully involved in their lives. I am married and going on 8 years now. I am residing in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA. I cannot complain. Most recent years I've been getting in touch with the Pow-Wow scene and teaching my children my ways - San Carlos Apache.

After high school, I landed a job with the San Carlos Forestry Service then decided to continue my education by deciding to go to EAA, but my mother had other plans. She suggested Phoenix College and in no time she packed the car loaded with enough bed sheets for the whole campus, pots and pans that she didn't want to wash and drove (sheltered rez girl) to the big city. First year was ALMOST great. It started really great.... great grades,,, etc. Then hard times fell upon me..... decided to work to survive. Worked for Sears Regional Office in Phoenix before they closed down, then worked for Dean Witter Reynolds. Move to Tucson where I landed a job with a Real Estate Property Management Company downtown. Met my husband through a training class that I took for my job. The rest is history.
