Sandie: Alvin/Al/AJ/"Al Sin", five other guys (Kevin and Ron Colvin, Bill Sypult, Paul Machula and Jerry [oh, Lord, Jerry, I've forgotten your last name]) and I had a band named the New Breed (or was it the New Breeds?) during high school and even after Alvin and some of the other guys left for college. Mostly Miami guys, some from Globe. Very '60's (1966-1969) music -- think "More" and "Hang on, Sloopy!" and "The Shadow of Your Smile" -- but well played and danceable (or as Alvin liked to say, "ear-bitin' music"). We did well at the Elks and the Shamrock and the Apache Land and the Nocyar Club and the Country Club and occasional proms and weddings. I think only Alvin pursued music professionally, although Kevin and/or Ron might have for a while, and Paul is a music teacher. I remember a number of Sandie's. Which one were/are you?
