 Sophia landed lightly on her feet as Edward's spell ended. As soon as she touched ground she quickly walked over to the nearest tree and ducked under it. It may have been a beautiful day, but it was just too bright for her! She was used to no sunlight at all, just the gray light that filtered through the clouds that the vampire Lord Demitri Maximov had used to blot out the sun. She jumped up to the lowest limb of the tree and sat there quietly watching the group.
"So, you noticed him too I see," she said to Mardrave as he looked back to where the stranger was hiding. She had smelt their stalker soon after they left the town. She hadn't bothered to say anything about it before and had just been keeping a quite eye on him. If he made a single agressive move though. . .his soul was hers.
