"Smoke in here and I'll break yer legs," the loudspeaker blared as the ship settled down, little landing skids extending. The huge side door slid open automatically, letting them into the cramped, darkened interior. The enitre dront portion of the ship was taken up by an extensive array of computers and sensors, with three seats for operators--all of them empty. The rear of the ship had padded seats for eight more people, all of them rather cramped and spartan. At the front were two more seats for the pilot and copilot; only the pilot's seat was occupied. Besides Tristan, there was no one else aboard the ship.

"Don't get me wrong--I still have business to settle with a member of your group--but ridding the world of that witch takes priority. If you're going after her, I can set my busines aside for today. Tomorrow, of course, is another day--but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Now strap in--this ride's gonna be a bit rough..."

They felt a suddenly lurch as the ship lifted off without warning, climbing rapidly to 60,00 feet before heading towards Berlin, easily overtaking the group flying ahead and soon leaving them behind.
