Victor's eyes went wide as he saw Deil, but it was too late. First Deil's attack it, and then Alex's. Victor thought of only one thing during the attack. Redd and Edward had to be protected, because he was counting on those two to give Lyunea a run for her money lately.

Little could be done to deflect Deil's attack from them, since it hit the entire group. Once they were all up in the air, however, Victor had a bit more manuevering room. He fired both Ether Guns to the left, pushing him to the right so he would be below Edward and Redd. "MB3!" The barrier errected itself around Victor, absorbing a good portion of Alex's attack. However, the barrier absorbed so much of it that parts of Victor's body started to spontaneously erupt into fire, the fire would quickly sizzle out leaving burns.

Victor tried to block out the pain, and looked down at Deil, not all pleased with this. "I guess the battle starts now..." Victor disappeared and reappeared behind the Lyunea minion. "Elmekia LANCE!" The holy blast fired from his hands at the henchman.
