Apparently, the two believed there was no use for them in a team full of "power-houses." Victor looked at the two, keeping his voice low so the egomaniacal "gods" like Frieza wouldn't hear. "Remember... Lyunea isn't exactly a normal enemy. I'm almost willing to bet that she's already got a plan in store for those that want to fight her head on, and they'll probably be the first ones down. I consider some of the best resources of the team to be those members that have unconventional powers and techniques, because she won't be expecting them." Edward then came over, sitting next to Victor. He looked at Vance, removing one of his instruments from his poncho as he did. "You said earlier that you were a Writer? When you were writing in that book earlier, something appeared in front of you... does what you write appear in the physical world?"
