 All eight heads smiled in approval of the move. Some of them addled by the fog. It dove beneath the waves, raising it's tail to strike.

And all of them in one flimsy, easily capsized boat...


Suddenly, just as the fog lightened and they caught their first glimpse of the far shore, a huge, scaled tail, over a dozen feet across and thick as a sequoia, shot through the murk, smashing the ship into two parts, both of which rapidly beagin to fill with the strange, murky water. Those whoo fell into the water, felt a numbing, warm, and not at all unpleasant sensation, slowly lulling them into sleep.
