Hi Evil Duke,
I started the forum for the same reason you did, I saw the original forum had closed down and I saw the little button that said start you're own forum, So I jumped in and did it, and let those that wanted to come to it, come to it. I didn't call it specifically a new england forum ...because I wanted for everyone from any ren faire to be able to call this forum theirs. As you probably have seen from my other posts I have repeatedly asked everyone if they want me to close it down so there is only one forum again. As you can see some people have asked me to keep it open, so that's what I'm doing. I just look at it as another room in a house where people can go. Until I am sitting here alone posting to myself I am going to keep it open, it's basically effortless to maintain and some people seem to like it.
We are all about having 50 choices of the same thing, so why not 2 rennie forums? I mean even dogs have 20 different brands of dog food to choose from.
I have told everyone this is their forum that was the promise I made to everyone when I started it, it's really up to the 10 or so people that posted up top that they are still here, if they all decide to leave , then so be it, if one wants to stay and post knowing I may be the only other person reading it..then that's fine too.
I don't really see the problem I guess, I kind of don't see it as a real issue...it's just a forum... I encourage everyone to take a look at both forums...post on both forums, in the grand scheme of things does it really matter that much?
