I see earlier in the listings of someone asking about the Lancaster Bomber in Wastwater, I am a keen technical diver and have myself been trying to locate this misterious aircraft. I have it on good authority that the plane is in Wastwater at 77m deep toward the end of the lake nearest the hotel. The person who dived the wreck has now moved abroad so he is unavailable for comment, but he did give its rough location to a few people but it has not been found since. There is also I am told again on good authority a Hudson Bomber in Wastwater at the oposite end of the lake sitting at 24m deep. There is then the engine and tail fin off an Avenger MKll at 10m deep at the south end of the lake.

Do you know if the Hudson is actually there as stated and if I hear or indeed see anything of the Lancaster I shall let you know.
