The Knights had defeated the Gargoyle Debiru guards, and since Zephyrico was weakened, they quickly surrounded him.
Suddenly, the roof of the Convention Center disintigrated, and a Portal floated slightly above it. Sabre jumped out through the opening of the roof, "Eraxus has killed enough people to get the life force to stabalize the portal! We can still close it be starving it!(ie. don't let anyone die or their life force would by pulled in by the portal)".
"That won't be too hard" Ronnin called back, "Zeph is already weakened and we took out the Gargoyle Debiru! Eraxus is the only one left!"
A voice eminated from the portal, a voice that struck fear right into Sabre's core, "I... AM... THE DARK MASTER... A..K..U..M..A..! this portal is too small for me..... BUT! I can still use my powers against you!" A large black beam of Makain energy shot out straight into Zeph, the energy surged through his body and he seemed to grow. "I FEEL THE POWER OF AKUMA IN ME! HAHAHA!" Zeph screached, he had now grown to a hulking beast, Sabre jumped at the new Aku-Zeph but was knocked away by a single blow. Sabre suprized at the fact he was not too heavily injured called to Akito, "Look, Zeph is still not at him full power, starve the portal until it closes and the connection between Zeph and Akuma will be broken! Then he will revert into his normal form!" Sabre looked at the girl that just joined them, "Unless you are a Knight get out of here, if you are help!" Sabre felt her energy was strong and may be able to help keep Aku-Zeph at bay until the portal closed.
