 Haven't used any red bud but have been hot on the trail of some. Had a dead one spotted but it didn't work out. Also lost out on a stack of dogwood. Wasn't fast enough. It went to a landfill. What a waste. I finally got that magnolia call to play. Used a black gum lid. It's still not right because it won't play without chalk. Will continue fooling around with it until it's right or firewood. Hope the redbud works out for you.
