Your message title is probably on track your walls may be too thick. Make sure your paddle is evenly rounded on the bottom but not overly smooth. My call sides start out at about 1/4 inch at base and then gradually move up lowereing in thickness down to 1/10 inch. And make sure the top of your sides slightly bevel inwards.
