Wow.
That was a lot.(In a goot way)
It took me a while to delete it so I wouldn't copy the whole thing in my reply.
It is important stuff...especially the bit about having cheesy expectations because you haven't got bad motivations.
I'm kinda like that too- I don't really have a LOT of hostility, and I tend to be very forthright in what I say, there's really no hidden agenda for me, so I just optimistically figure that we can all get along if we really want to badly enough. I don't insist that there must be an ulterior motive to everything, I don't really be ulterior myself, ennit?

As for being goofy- that's quite a lot of just who I am. I don't even think I'm doing goofiness to mask anything, I'm just a knuckleheaded guy who may very well have too much direct contact with methane.
My Dad is a knucklehead too. So it's genetic.

I did learn to refine my humor a bit- I would "carryon" to help my Mom feel better when she was sick, come up with silliness and weird stories to get her to laugh. When you are cleaning someone or helping them change spots on the bed and it hurts, if you can get them laughing a little bit, then it's easier on them. So I would invent or exaggerate,(kinda like my cow pound escapades), and get her bathed was easier and less painful and stuff. That would be where I might say I have an ulterior motive for being a goofy.

I have no idea how Swedish and Finnish people are different. Do they look different from each other?
Different languages? Clueless me.

I'm gonna scamper on down to the next area.......nice discussion, Y-lady
