The local schools in Texas can't compete very effectively because of Hopwood v. Texas.

Here, there is still affirmative action, which is why at UTSA I was always sending my most gifted students to the Midwest.

What majors are you interested in? I'll do some digging. As you know, I am in criminal justice. BTW, UTSA has a pretty good pre-med program for your science students who want to stay in state.
