I can't understand why no one is listening about the Bill of Rights, sometimes although progress appears to be being made, in other ways, things are regressing, almost, it seems. Is it apathy, regarding the Bill of Rights, or is it that too many people have too much to lose if it happens?

I read some of the Kickapoo case details. What seems so sad in cases like this is Indian people in dispute with other Indian people, as if there aren't enough problems. And oppression of expressing an opinion, as appears to have happened to Johnnie, can surely never be right, especially if the opinion proves right.
