Subject: Chapter Thirty: The First Battle

We were being hurt bad...
We could use our newfound abilites like we had been born with them in terms of SKILL...
But in terms of knowing how to harness that skill, we were toast...
Until Jes thought of something...

"J.T.!"

"What? I'm kinda trying not to get Gored here!"

"No, the SIMSTer!"

Then I realized what she was saying: Even among other MSTers, I was different. While other MSTers might have two SIs and that's not uncommon, I was the only one who had two teams: AniMSTers and SIMSTers.
And if I had Jay of the AniMSTers' powers...
Maybe I had mine from the SIMSTers... And could solve this situation Kay's way: "A big gun and no mercy."

"REBB, Alex! Cover me! 'I'll try and unleash the power of the Matrix.'"

As Alex began to cast his spells, and REBB reverted to beast mode to take on the Duel Horn, I started to feel sick...

And I split into J.T. and Kay...

But I didn't let that stop me...

I reached into subspace and pulled out a sword... the Auto-Abilites of a Razzmatazz in the form of a sword-only Twin Lance... a Gun... Beretta M93R-RS (Robocop Special... and an energy cannon... a FUSION cannon...

And I began to assemble them... First holding the Beretta in my hand as I brought the Twin Lance down on top and felt it fold to enclose the Beretta... then locking the fusion cannon onto the Beretta to form the best weapon I had...

One hundred thousand tetrawatts of ass-kicking power...

The Finishing Touch.

"Need some help guys?"

Alex and REBB stepped back as I leveled the Finishing Touch...

"'Pwn3d.'"

And fired.

"Extra-Crispy Duel Horn anyone?"

Alex and REBB's hands when straight up.

Before we resumed talking, I woke up Kay, whose reaction was typical of the Magni...

"'Oh. My. Insanity. There's TWO of me.'"

Yep, he was gonna be fine.

It was Tay who came up with the idea of everyone going home and keeping an eye out, then contacting the others when something happened.

Then it was just Myself... a leaning-against-a-tree Kay... and Jes in the clearing.

"J.T.-chan, SLIGHT problem. I'm not even on this continent right now. I should be in France, and they might believe me if I said I'd left early to sightsee, but being gone for ten hours? They'd freak."

"Why not just Flashy-Thing 'em?"

I started to grin... "Kay, I think that's the first INTELLIGENT thing you've ever said..."
