Subject: Chapter 46: Preparation

(Red's POV)

Lessee. It's 10 PM now, 9 on Chicago time. I'm checking out my shaman's gear and tac suit. I've even gotten back in touch with my spirit animals, Steel Talon, a red hawk; and Piercing Roar, a lion.

A side note: Traveling through the Astral Plane is fun!

Junior's sitting in front of the PS2 I hooked up to the TV. He's been really quiet since the whole Shitan thing. I looked through his stuff while Death Giver was checking his equipment, and found a tag on his tac suit: "Belmont Military and Police Surplus." Well, that explains a bit. And the knives and such he probably bought at The Alley, then had professionally sharpened.

One thing interested me. There was a large ring, about big enough to fit a kid's head. Attached to it was a note. It wasn't in Dan's hand writing. But it did say "To Luis" on it so I figured, what the hell.

"Alex told me that knowing you, you'd sneak through your little brother's stuff to make sure he didn't get his hands on something that he could hurt himself with (or others, for that matter). So I figured that this would get your attention."

Remind me to kick Dan's behind for this...

"I trust that you remember the legend of the Monkey King, since Junior's claiming himself to be his son. What you hold in your hands is a laurel. It's kinda like a tiara for boys."

Are you trying to make him gay?

"And no, I'm NOT trying to make him gay."

Coulda fooled me...

"The laurel was used to keep Sun Wu Kun (Son Goku) in line. Whenever he would act up, the laurel would tighten around his head just enough to cause terrible pain. This laurel that you hold can do the same thing. It can also keep his powers in check, and seal any malignant spirits within it, ensuring that nothing can possess him. Once Nelson puts it on, he cannot take it off. Good luck. See you soon.

Hey! This might take care of our evil-Sayin-ghost problem! "Hey, Junior."

"What? I'm almost done kicking Sephiroth's ass in Kingdom Hearts."

"I know, but iif you're the Monkey Prince, you gotta wear what Wu Kun wore. Here..." I put the ring on him, and check to see if it'll come off. *Unngh!...* Nope, it's stuck. Huzzah!

The next few days should be interesting.

(Anthony's POV)

*RING.*

"Hello?"

Alex, it's me.

"Oh, w'ssup? Thanks for enchanting the ring, Tony."

No problem. I'm with your Step-GodFather, now. we just bought that bus you asked for, and we're on our way down there. We even picked up a few people for you. REBB and JS are with us.

"Good."

"..."

You sound worried. Amanda's not there, is she?

"No. It's about 10:12 now."

And?

"And she said she'd be here around 10:15. I'm begining to worry."

Hey, she knows her way around Dalton better than you, and-"

"Dan? Steel Talon just told me that she found Amanda!"

"She's on her way back?"

Alex? Why are they calling you "Dan"?

"Hold on a sec, Tone. Well?"

"She's been kidnapped."

"WHAT?!?"

Alex, calm down. I'll teleport there as soon as I can, okay?

"I'll be gone by then."

Why?

"The Holy Demon's gotta find his beloved."

Oh...

"Just make sure the bus gets here."

I got the adress. Don't worry about me. Go find Amanda-joshi.

"Later."

Later. *Click.* Hey, Joe!

"Yeah?"

I'm not sure. I just think that we may have more power than we thought we did.

"Wha...?"

Look, if we created these characters that we're turning into, what's stopping other people to characters we made them out to be? I mean, Magnus split into two people, more or less. That means there may be other Magni coming. And other Amandas. Or other --

*SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! CRASH!*

Well...
