Off to one side, I see a small group of three moving through the mall. Being dressed as I am, not many look in my direction. This robe that my Master bestowed to me upon my Knighthood has served me well. It conceals the only weapon I need . . . my lightsaber.

Ah, where are they going? Blasted window shoppers, must they waste time here? There are more important things to do out there in the galaxy, let alone the universe.

Where are my manners? My name is Jim. I am the last of an ancient practice, long dead in the universe. It was a stroke of luck that I found the datachip that contained everything I needed . . . the tests to see if I was Force sensitive, the ways of the Jedi, the whole lot.

Now what are they doing? Oh, just stopping at a food kiosk. That small group of three worries me. It was a Force vision that brought me to this world. These three have something to do with the destiny of the universe itself.

And that universe screamed at me that these people were going to encounter great peril.

It showed only two possibilites. Total victory, or total annihalation . . .
