Slowly the girl moved around the room with one hand stretched out in front of her and the other moving her white cane about. As she did this she listened the elf owl that flew about in front of her, making noises when she got close to something. The girl looked odd doing this but she was trying to remember the room since she would be here for a long time. She went around the room a few times till she had a idea of where things were at.

“Ok Angel. Take me to the kitchen. That will be harder.”

Obediently the owl led her to the kitchen with a series of odd sounds then flew silently till the girl came close to objects. Her hand ran across the sink and the fridge and the stove. She smiled and was thinking she was doing pretty well when she suddenly heard Angel squeak. She tripped over a chair and landed with a big thud. In frustration she threw her cane and hit the floor with her fist.

Sighing, she got a hold of herself and slowly stood.

“Angel, bring me my cane.”

She whispered, trying not to cry. The girl wasn’t hurt, and not even too upset about having to learn a new house, there was just so much built up inside that little things ticked her off. The owl dragged the cane over to her, it being to heavy and she being to small. Once again the girl started around the room.
