know about the requirements in order to try negligence in a court of court, just like most people don't know you need diversity citizenship and an amount exceeding $75K less costs and interests to get into Federal Court. So suing just to get a warranty extension would need a lot of people as lets say the warranty of the engine is worth $3k. On the otherhand, if the suit includes a buy back, it is much easier because that would be $60K+ per person. Need just 2 people to satisfy the >75K requirement. Should we sue in NY or CA? Venue make a difference. Local Fed. District Ct rules are a bit different. The attorneys are different and so are the judges.
