Subject: BMW E 46 Engine failure

Hi my June 2002 M3 SMG Coupe has died. Engine blew having achieved 67000 miles. Now outside warranty am awaiting BMW to decide on compensation towards cost of repairs presently estimated to be £20,000 inc labour!!!!

Any thoughts anyone - seems there are known issues with Engine failures so BMW are liable even outside warranty period.....
