Some Monday mornings you just know that when you next have a look at this board there will be a comment like this, striving so hard to be witty and falling just short.

I have always thought the hoik in the air dragging the ball from wide outside off to the leg side is one of crickets more cultured shots, and get a real kick from the danger of dangling it in the air near their best fielder and then jogging down only to notice that if he hits I am out by yards.

As for crass behaviour in the field, despite 1 catch not being given, 2 drops and 3 lbws not being given, it was like water off a ducks back to the new reformed me. There were no unsavoury incidents (ok a couple of incredulous looks and stares and a bit of chuntering behind the umpires back).
