"Who are you"?, "Where am I"?, "Why are my slippers in the dish washer"?, "Why do my hands look so small?". Welcome to the world of the old and the confused. Up and down the country such individuals live their lifes in a seperate reality from the rest of us. Dazed and confused, soiled and airing the faint aroma resultant of poor bladder control, they cling to what little reality they can filter through their confused state. A sad picture to paint, especially when the are in their mid-30's!
Last innings 140 declared the board, which was a bit of a miracle given how his team mates struggled to retain any idea of the overs bowled and scribbled away in the book clutching their crayons in their clentched fists. Indeed such was the nature of the happy Valley they even resisted scandalous 'not out' caught behind verdicts which even Stevie Wonder would have been able to give. Thankfully the two batsmen at the crease were able to interperate the complicated 'last innings' statement and were aware of their failure at the end of the innings. Due to problems of old age it took their skipper another two days before the light shone through the confused haze and the stale aroma!
