Agree on most points, the five seamers all offer a combination of having good county records along with being the right side of 30. The six batsmen are a nice blend of established players (ie the top 3) and promising talent. I personally have my doubts over Strauss and reckon Bell, Shah, Joyce have something to offer. However Strauss is the one of the four to have produced the goods this season so gets the nod. Flintoff picks himself and must bat a 6 and Jones is a keeper who bats so should tour, though I would make him 1st choice and have considerable doubts about his keeping to spin. The out and out spinner would have to be Batty. Any current England spinner must be able to bat at least at nine so Brown can forget it. Swann has struggled this year though should be kept in mind. I would disagree over Wallace and Pietersen, the latter because I believe that he is still not qualified to play for England, the former because he should go back to the Acadamy. Read would tour as first choice (I can't believe you wouldn't take him) and in Pietersen's place I would go with a hunch and take Adam Hollioake (batting and bowling variety is something England are lacking).
