Subject: HP Pavilion ZE 5000 Port replicator problems

I have a HP Pavilion ze5537la a month old and I bought the Simple Port Replicator for ze5000 series notebook, but it doesn´t work OK. The serial port is not recognized automatically and the manual installation ends with an error report (code 34) and the USB peripherals are not recognized on startup if they are plug in the replicator USB ports.

Any ideas of how to fix this??

HP support recommended that a BIOS upgrade will do. I updated it but the problems remained.
